I think that statistically, lightning is more likely to strike again in the same place because whatever is there to provide a ground is likely still there and when another storm comes across the same place, Flash! Ka-Boom! Another strike in the same place.

If you've ever seen films of electrical storms moving across the prairie states, You could almost superimpose films from several different storms on the same path at different times and the films look like copies of each other.

Intellectually, I know the odds are far greater to be struck by lightning than to be bitten by a shark. The movie "Jaws" ruined my love of salt water for good. Perhaps zum operant condeezuning could zolve zee problem?

A question for the thread....What do you all do with the plastic grocery bags. Recycle? Save them up until you get too many and throw them all out at once? Use them as trash can liners for the smaller cans? SH
