There would be no coming Phase 3 pediatic Rett syndrome trial in the future, if the Phase 2/3 pediatric Rett syndrome trial had failed.

Who could argue that the Rett juvenile trial was not a failure.



A lot of posters (George, as a prime example) have made many posts insisting that EXCELLENCE was not a failure. But...of course it was. If it had been a success, AVXL would have already filed an NDA with the FDA. Instead, AVXL is planning a larger trial with a different design in another attempt.
