That is good advice from Mr. Buffet in the context of the rational for investing in the first place which was not mentioned. Sometimes the rational changes. That happened when he invested in coal and then coal got caught in the fossil fuels cross hairs.
If the main reasons for investing in a company have not changed then neither should the investing. Managing risk when expected time frames are delayed means not buying on the interim uptrends if time has become the major issue. Better to buy near the interim bottom(s) which are being provided here by those who gain by creating them then wait for the reason for investing in the first place to play out; ). Mr. Woodford first invested almost 10 years ago so if he could would he, or even Warren Buffet, be more or less inclined to invest today based on an original thesis for investing?; ). There are plenty of axioms, even some of Mr. Buffet’s, that would support purchasing NWBO at this level at this time. Best wishes.
