Well, those results are really disappointing. I am not even sure if a larger study would be justified based on this pilot.
There is a statistically insignificant reduction in pain on days 1-3. Unfortunately even that small benefit goes in the wrong direction after day 7.
It will be very difficult to find the positives in this study. It is definitely not going to be usable as evidence to support inclusion in the NoPain act.
I’m with you on the publishing question. It would probably be better if he didn’t.
