“Maybe I'm missing it, so if anyone can enlighten me, what part of expanding due to need of more space since things are going better than expected, would cause this drop and the volume - it will be appreciated...”

IMO, the PR was not negative and could certainly be interpreted as positive. What is the downside of needing more space to increase production?

I think any negative sentiment comes largely from expectations some penny stock traders might have had. Might have thought this would be a quick run to dollar(s) but can now see the runway might be a little longer (ie this fall instead of this summer).

Building costs money and takes time. Recent PRs seem to indicate resources are being poured into growing the egg population and the parental strains. Not as much talk about actual silk production but more around “preparing” for larger silk production. LOTS of people have heard how the company is “preparing” to do things for years. Many penny stocks also likely include that carrot. So guilt by association might be part of it too, IMO.

Preparing to produce silk and delivering it and GETTING PAID are different things. Yes, you have to grow capacity to meet expanding demand. Many would likely appreciate information that someone has paid for what Kim is producing. Revenues are always good, especially in OTC land.

For the uninformed it might feel like “more of the same”. They may have already seen a pretty good run up and decided to take their profits.

There could be market manipulation happening to help some larger investors buy in at a lower price. It happens.

As the news gets bigger, and volume/demand grows, it will be tougher and tougher to create these pullbacks.

Many of us have been riding this rollercoaster for quite some time. One day “soon” we’ll get to a place where the ATH, and beyond, are within reach. Just not quite there yet.

It must be a July 1st tradition for this company. Remember this from 2 years ago:

https://www.industryintel.com/bioeconomy/news/fiber-producer-kraig-biocraft-labs-begins-finalizing-five-year-production-contract-with-unnamed-subcontractor-and-company-s-vietnamese-subsidiary-prodigy-textiles-jv-has-already-produced-enough-recombinant-spider-silk-to-launch-spydasilk-apparel-brand-157378082688

Funny how the company went silent shortly after that.

So how does the company run out of production space all of a sudden. Are they not doing anything at the original Prodigy anymore? Why tell a subcontractor with plenty of capacity to go pack sand 2 months before you run out of capacity? Supposedly, they just produced the biggest production run ever. 2 years ago they said they had produced enough to get SpydaSilk supplied, but this time there’s no mention of where this silk is supposed to go? There are still way too many questions that haven’t been answered and a lot of things that don’t make any sense in their PR’s.

As the old saying goes, “Buy on rumor, sell on news.”

KBLB is not your typical stock though, so everyone needs to figure out their own approach.
