Peaches have largely declined in quality since, like so much other produce, they grow varieties designed to transport well vs. taste good. They also harvest them too early so they can withstand the rigors of cost-to-cost trucking.

As I noted a while back, I've seen more than the usual amount of bad onions this year. Some sort of rot...maybe due to too much rain? And I don't think I've ever purchase an avocado. What do you do with them?
