You don't eat avocados?? You cut them in cubes and put them on your chili. Or your shrimp salad. You put them in other salads; they're super in chicken salad, with bacon. You make guacamole. And of course there's avocado toast, which I gather you're supposed to eat for breakfast. You can do a million things with them. BUT you have to use them JUST when they ripen.
And yes, I recently bought some Vidalias that got mushy quite quickly not long ago.
