Manaea drives me nuts with his lack of control. He is not very hittable that is a plus. But he can't get deep into games because he simply walks waaaaaaaay too many. As for mcniel anyone would be better for 2b at this point.
I truely believe this team is far more talented than any of these other wc teams they are competing with not counting atlanta in this analysis. Which is why I couldn't stand this 2024 team (Before the turnaround) I know they are better than the comp but they were so bad in may it was bordering on comical. But thankfully they are really turning it around now and I think it can continue.
This lineup in my opinion should be one of the best in the NL. Because it is balanced now that Alvarez and Vientos are everyday players, versus Baty and Nido/Navarez in my opinion. I think when he moved Nimmo to 2 and pete to 4 that was the final lineup adjustment needed. Now if mcneil can find his way simply out of the lineup period that would be a plus. If senga can ever make an appearence also would be a plus, where you can have him and severino at top of the rotation.
