Yankees made it official yesterday.

June 18: 1B Anthony Rizzo to miss 8 weeks with forearm fracture; C/1B Ben Rice called up
Rizzo was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right forearm fracture, which will keep the first baseman out of game action for eight weeks. He will not resume baseball activities for at least the first four to five weeks. But Rizzo said he expects to return this season.

Willie Mays was waaaaaaaaaaay before my time but clearly one of the best overall player in baseball history. Best two players I seen was barry Bonds (Who was helped) and Ken Griffey Jr. Griffey Jr. was my first favorite player as kid, and frank Thomas was my 2nd favorite player as a kid. Before my favorite players became all mets, lets face it there wasn't much to like as mets fans in the early to mid 90's before Piazza got there in my opinion.
