I did a quick search on silk cocoon for raw silk, there I read 10%
But this is even better than I thought, I'm happy with it.

So I'm assuming when they weigh these cocoons they're also weighing the moth that's inside the cocoon? so the dead moth is the majority of the weight? Also are they weighing these after their boiled? Possibly still damp?
