"Do you think Linda wants to face with ever increased numbers of angry investors in a few weeks".
They have never ever cared what retail says, and at the ASM they always select the questions from SH that they want to answer, not the ones we want answered. The dog and pony show continues to our detriment.

Dan88,
Great post. Big picture is that a $3M equity raise is a small event. The major event is DCVax approval by MHRA is in days, weeks, or at most 1 to 2 months. Everything changes in a major way when that happens.

Good to see we have an investment fund with analysts and clients that they advise for investing.

I certainly don't know, but I'd suspect that this agreement was put together over a period of time, management didn't solicit it, but rather it was presented to them, and they couldn't pass it up. This is something my old broker told me about most similar deals IMGN made. Even though the company knows good news is coming, when presented with serious cash in exchange for stock, along with the ability to put those shares in
strong hands, a company is more likely to go for such a deal than turn it down.

Do you think Linda gives a F about what retail investors think? I dont. She will fund the Company as she see's fit. The track record speaks for itself.

I will say one thing. The last time a stock did a placement like this that I owned, was Anavex. Placement was at $20 and the stock price was at $18. The stock went to $34 in a few days. I sold (DCA of $5.50) and the stock retreated to the pre-placement price in a week or two. CEO Missling did raise $80M in the transaction and added to the Company's cash runway. Point: I dont trust any of these small investment firms. They are not looking out for you, me or the Company. They are looking out for themselves and their clients. They are not our friends. I am not saying this is a good or bad deal, just that I dont trust SIO. What we need is mutual funds buying the stock = long-term placement. These small investment firms are in and out. I 100% guarantee they liquidate the position once they get what they want for a % return.

There was a pattern of closing down at the bell the last 2 weeks of May. If the deal terms of the Sio deal were similar to many i the past, the PPS would have been based on the previous 10 days closes. So that pattern discussed so often helped Sio.

BTW, to the idiots saying Sio doesn't short, their website is very clear. They do.
