yes. I honestly do not believe Trump will bring back either Mnuchin or Calabria to manage the GSE situation. A real clue to me on how important an enfacisis Trump puts on the GSE's will be the amount of time it takes him to fire Sandra T. If Trump cans her ASAP and has an FHFA head chomping at the bit waiting behind the curtain, then we will pop pretty good that day, I think, then it will be all about who his treasury and FHFA picks end up. If he picks solid individuals and gives them an "or else" mandate, like do it by such and such date, or your fired, then we'll see some real stock movement and not these games being played with 0.05, 0.10, 0.25, 0.50 jumps up and down that some keep falling for.
They way I see it, the democrats are noted for putting a few in place at FHFA while disregarding the confirmation process, I think Trump will appoint somone really early but hold close to his chest, then worry about confirming them after they replace ST.
