I have been involved and specifically played splits that were "interesting". divvies, round ups and promises. a few worked out but many were false promises. I would be interested to see if anyone gets a payout on fractionals as that was not mentioned in the finra notice

Yes... Jake claims, anything left over that is less than 500,000 shares, or 1 - 499,000 shares will get 100 bucks instead of a round up. If you had 905,000 shares you would get 1 split share and a hundred bucks for the 405,000 leftover shares. The goal of this is to get rid of current stockholders as many would have less than 500,000 shares. Typically, rather than payout for the fractional they would simply round up and give you the share. It's also very extreme to do a 1 for 500,000 RS...

I have not yet heard of anybody getting that 100 bucks.
