I can't understand why the IOC would greenlight Paris's request to host the summer games given the long-standing history of France's lack of civil stability in the public sector- unless the powers that be have laid out non-disclosed to the public contingency plans to the IOC.
Although, I guess it's no different than the DNC insisting that they host their convention this summer in downtown Chicago knowing full well that there will be protests and possible riots...🙄
