Gasoline dump is only a political play
and doesn't affect market...
A funny thing happened with the dropping
oil price during this week...
The wholesale gasoline prices have
only dropped a tad...
East Coast Cities near the planned sites
dumping out gasoline to market should
consider extra testing by water boards...
There may be a needed maintenance driving
the odd release just announced...
Hurricane season makes it the oddest...
OK, gas demand was likely in the 8 million
to 8.3 million barrel per day demand range
in January and February...
I don't care what the gov't numbers said...
Now demand has been rising and should
average in 9.2 to 9.5 barrel per day range
in the summer months...
Me still thinks the Gov't demand numbers
were averaged down in the last quarter of
2023 to get gas prices down for holidays
and then had the demand averaged back
in during weak 1st quarter for demand...
Demand during September to November
during height of college football tailgating
season also still look weaker than reality...
Any way, with demand at 9.5 million barrels
of gasoline per day,,,
A Gov't sale of 1 million barrels from Eastern
storage sites won't even be noticed...
And folks on West Coast will testify to it...
Water boards near those storage sites should
consider extra tests above the Gov't required
tests that are done each month...
Peon reflection as always...
So we watch...LJ
