Hi JC, I am sure these are great books but there are great books and history in every faith that make others stick with their faith/religion. That is why this world with an 8B+ population has so many different beliefs that we all live in.

Just within Judaism, Christianity, or Islam people have so many different beliefs and practices within themselves that one cannot easily satisfy the other on why what path to follow and what not.

I have always respected what others believe in because I am not an expert in arguing what is the right way for one should follow. I only know and grew within my religion and I try to be the best within it and respect others. We all pray to ONE GOD but through our own ways. End of the day we are Answerable to HIM and ONLY HIM. That will be the Day of Judgement.

I love this whole humankind that GOD has created as long as we ALL live in Love, Hope, Faith, Peace, and Happiness.

Oh boy!!! That is very interesting to know. It will surely perplex one's belief in God. But again, that can also be a TEST of how much you believe in the Almighty God.
I am sure what you have experienced I have not. So I can not speak the way you perceive things now when it comes to one's faith. Maybe one day you can sit next to me and elaborate more on your experiences so I can understand better on why you think the way you do today.
