ML uses industry buzzwords to look relevant and dupe low information retail out of their money so insiders can continue living high on the hog.

Ubiquitous
Heterogeneous

Are just a couple of examples. If you go back and find my post when he started using ubiquitous I explained all of this.

Batting 1.000% as always!

Nice summary proto, with silicon stretched as far as it will go there remains a need to add speed and keep power consumption as low as possible for computation and then data transmission. Heterogeneous integration will require getting smaller in order to pack more functionality into packaged devices. There is a vigorous search for new materials that can be added to the mix. Finding them and testing and developing them will take time. Polymers are here now and just waiting to be taken up. The big customers will dictate where this will go if the competition for new materials and how to use them plays out. In other words, if you build it, they will come.

Lightwave has solved the manufacturing piece at the foundry level and all that remains is the final packaging the customers wants. That should get solved in the several months at least to generate their first sale of modulators in a packaged device. LWLG is positioning itself to move into the forefront of the new generation of materials and they have the ability to enhance their polymers further to remain in contention. Once polymers are functioning in the market demand will grow because of the ease of integration these materials have in that they can be easily added to other materials in order for them to work better. A company like AMAT that has been leading semiconductor manufacturing for decades and must compete with other similar companies is certainly monitoring what is happening with LWLG polymers. They remain a candidate as a partner or acquirer as they could supply almost all the other manufacturers wanting to upgrade manufacturing in order to use polymers. Owning the material production and the PDK intellectual property will become very valuable and AMAT very likely knows this.
