Of course he is not benched I was commenting to that post. Under no circumstances should he be benched he is a good player. Don't care if not Dominguez is ready or not, not a spot for him at the moment. your not gonna call him up to play part time. Hence my point was he should stay in the minor for a awhile until someone gets injured.
Cabrera has done decently overall so far, and DJ is coming back. The thing is right now if torres doesn't pick it up, you might just rotate three guys for two spots when DJ comes back.
I'm aware the yankee pitching is so good, it begs the question when cole does come back to they go to a 6 man because Gil has been really good (Surpised by to be honest). I was a believer in clark schmidt and thought in terms of effectiveness he would be like a new jordan montgomery for you, granted right handed, but a guy who would take the ball work depp into games and be just solid. He has even been better than I thought, I was expecting a 3.50-4.00 ERA from him and so far it under 3. As for an extra bullpen arm I don't care how good our bullpen is you can always need more, that can be true of every team by the way, considering how much of the game is played in the bullpen these days in my opinion.
