Politicians will just find the next thing to be seen getting behind, and will move on to it, without looking back.
That includes any heralded cancer treatment initiatives. DCVax-l has zero chance of the NICE approving it as a prescriptive treatment.
How can it even be costed on a case by case basis when 87/100 patients will have no ‘meaningful’ benefit from its use .
The Doctor will have to know in advance that a patient will survive for an extended period of time first, else he won’t submit a request.
And if he has that kind of insight, there will be no need to prescribe the expensive treatment.

The standalone STUPP Protocol will be the prescribed treatment of choice for at least another decade to come,

Hospital exemptions are different, because any Government won’t care how private paying patients chose to spend their own money. That’s the individual’s prerogative !

People are so programmed to fall for Gov't propaganda. Why come out with a flurry of alleged initiatives, only to fail to deliver? Why not shut up, put up, then boast about the reasons for the their impressive track record?

So we are 140 days from submission . Let’s see who is still singing praises for the new earth shattering initiatives of MHRA for fast approval esp in area of unmet and critical needs . Even if they approve tomorrow they barely will meet 150 day deadline

I am hearing that contrary to what many believe, the 150 days, are business days - not calendar days. This could push us out to Aug - Sept for approval. Hopefully during this time there will be some agreements with BF to start us off, At the same time hopefully some EDEN units will be assembled as per the prototype they already have and ready for certification in the next few months.
