Like most biopharma companies, Anavex has had prestigious scientific advisors for years. The issue is not the scientific advisors. The issue is the CEO. One has to be deaf and blind not to see that Missling is an autocrat and a one-man band. Anavex might as well be called The Missling Show, starring Christopher Missling. It’s his show and he’s the director. It’s his way or the highway. I’ve known CEOs like Missling. He doesn’t empower people. He makes it very clear even without having to directly say so that you do what he wants or you hit the road. Everybody gets the message loud and clear. So you keep your head down and you collect your hefty check. You don’t go against him or challenge him because he makes it abundantly clear that he won’t tolerate it. It’s employment suicide to do so. This is the tragedy of Anavex.

Hosai

Thank you for your post which re-introduces to our faithful supporters of Anavex the outstanding and impeccable resume, knowledge and expertise of Dr Sabbagh to our Scientific Advisory Board specifically, but also greatly enhances our company’s reputation and credibility in the scientific community.

Additionally, I wish to point out (In sentence five) of his unquestionable experience with the medical peer review process and inner workings.

Let this be a reminder and reassurance to us (faithful) investors) that the eventual successful outcome of our peer review process will proceed in a timely and expeditious manner…:).
