True, and the instinct of most drivers when they want to stop -- even Tesla drivers who get used to aggressive regenerative braking and driving mostly with the accelerator -- is to pound the brakes. Still, if you then release the brakes the stuck accelerator starts the car forward again. And it's a very, very fast and heavy vehicle. Not optimal.
