They’ve gone all in on tech that has at best, one generation left.
Polymers have already proven faster, cheaper to make, easier to integrate into CMOS and far more adaptable into the future.
The last couple painstaking years have proven reliability is no longer an issue (pathetic you still attempt to use that old canard).
They are about to get leapfrogged, and they know it.
You can tell they are stalling for time with their pseudo arguments against the adoption of electro-optic polymers.
