I am seeing allot of maxed out credit card debt here at the dealership and more and more past due accounts. Banks may not be talking but have to be worried. I was looking yesterday and all dealer new car sales in the southeast are down 50% or more. The past two Saturday's we did not sell a car which in normal times is the biggest day of the week. Last time it got this slow was in late 08 before the early 09 crash. Hopefully that is not about to happen again.
