Is a weatherman branded a liar if his prediction is wrong? Of course not! He uses data and his experience to predict future weather... but unexpected things do happen! Is he always right? No... but his predictions should be heeded!

If you don't agree with the weatherman... change the station or turn the TV off! But instead you spend your days and nights complaining that you don't agree with the forecast and accusing the weatherman of being in on a weather conspiracy!
