MF! You nailed it! A very good post! Is the NSI shrimp and fish technology economically viable? Nobody on the outside really knows! Not much shrimp production out of Texas! Not much shrimp production out of Iowa to date after years of trying but it appears that system has a better chance for success. So if Iowa can ramp up production in a real significant way "soon", then maybe the technology has a chance for success! The jury is still out as NSI is very secretive with production results.

Excellent post. First of all, I actually do believe that SHMP believes. I am certain Gerald and Bill and Tom believe. There are also people that believe Elvis is alive.

Summary.

1. The company has been at this for decades and yet has never produced 2 contiguous lots of shrimp. Conclusion, tech does not CURRENTLY WORK.

2. The technology continues to change and evolve. Conclusion. The previous iteration does not work.

3. Company has never produced at scale. As a result, virtually impossible to know what your costs are. Conclusion, they don't know their costs even if the technology works.

4. You may call this conjecture. It is not. There is zero chance any investment bank does a raise for SHMP at the current stock price. FINRA corporate action will be required.

The company is past the fluff stage. I know there are people that make fun of GRPS. Fair game. However, they have produced 150,000 pounds of shrimp, much more than SHMP.

Great post. While images in the rearview mirror may be closer than they appear, the past is prologue. SHMP touted success with EC alone...but never provided details. In fact, EC was so "successful" that SHMP had to acquire different "tech", after paying $10M for EC. And what does SHMP have to show for it? Certainly nothing quantitative that they've provided to the public.

Oh...and the Hamilton County tax assessor web site still shows SHMP's RE tax due last March for Webster City is still unpaid...all $180K of it.
