I didn’t “make it to partner” because I became a lawyer. In every multi-disciplinary meeting I was ever in, the idiots in the room were always the accountants. They never were part of any meaningful strategic discussion on anything. I know that you love being a wanna-be insider, and some type of prescient investor, but you’re just a silly accountant who verifies numbers, nothing more. It’s only human to aspire to greatness, so I don’t hold it against you.
