Steady is there a chance (the plan?) for the MM’s to pull the stock down which will possibly cause the smaller funds to capitulate right into the hands of whales sitting at the top? Metaphorically speaking the whales come in and scoop up the pod of tuna after they batter, beat, and confuse them with fud and a suppressed price?
CDXC is one I have been watching for many years that is doing this now. The stock is broken and has traded side ways.
$100M is couch cushion money to Black Rock et al. IF they really were focused on AVXL they would be buying all the way through X dollars and THEN sell to the WGT crowd. Hedged? I would say every Institutional Index position which includes AVXL is hedged.
