There were three good options lets see jose Butto (since we have been told numerous times by the gm this is a year of evaluation), lets see christian scott, and see if he can run with it. Or spend a little more and sign mike clevinger before he signed. No instead lets go the middle of the road approach, spend millions on a aging veteran who is past his prime, because what are we evaluating again with a world of 1 year deals wewill have a whole new team next year.
This gm has said they were gonna make the playoff numerous times.
