Changed? I guess you could make the argument that, it being guarded was part of the bigger picture, that it was even bought in the first place.
Which would tie it into why so many shares were sold, just to pay for it. And THAT, would have had an effect on the stock.
All while still paying, and finally renewing, a lease agreement on their "work space" in Cal.
