It is easy to say that when your the Yankees and if your pessimistic you win 92-95 games, and if your optimistic your north of 100. The mets best case scenario is they win high 80's if everything goes right, the worst case is they lose close to 90 games if there highly questionable starting pitching which has so far shown signs that it is highly questionable. I get it it is early but for this team to contend for the 3rd wc they have to beat up on teams like the brewers. Half there lineup isn't great, there starters after peralta are very unimpressive., there bullpen will see but losing devin williams is a huge hit. And the mets not only lost the series they got swept. The manager was allready suspended, the pitching is gonna kill the bullpen if these guy consistently can't go 5. the mets play 19/20 days these guys are gonna have to work a bit deeper in games. Now they haven't hit either, but that I agree there is no reason to be concerned there, because they haven't had JD yet. And Nimmo, Lindor and Mcneil I doubt are gonna hit under .100 this season. So not worried the offense will come around. However for this season to go right they have to beat up on the bad to average teams, and going 0-3 against the brewers at home is a horrendous start in my opinion.
