The brewers don't have a good lineup strongly disagree. The brewers in my opinion will finish under .500 and stink this year. Problem is severino was terrible and that is a concern, as I say it is only 1 game, but he stunk last year as well, which is why it is a concern.

The brewers only scored 4 run in 13 innings not pitched by severino. That is not exactly telling me they are gonna be so good. I think this team will win 75-77 games. Which is why the mets playing like they did, partically severino is somewhat concerning for the mets to have a shot at that 3rd wild card they need to win the games against the brewers who aren't very good.

The mets lineup is miles better. Nimmo is like 20 million a year for a player who has had a combined 9 war the last 2 years. That is fair. I mean Nimmo hit 24 Homers last year and got on over a 360+ clip, and played CF, you make it sound like he is this bad player. Now at the end of the contract as it is with every long-term contract you will pay for it in most cases. But that contract is not as outrageous as you make it. Marte was great the first year of the deal, the 2nd year stunk do to him being injured. He does look healthy again, if he is more like 2022 Marte he is definetley worth the contract. Keep in Mind if he has a good year this year there is only 1 more left. Mcneil is a 300 hitter who can play all over the diamond, he has ben zobrist type skills. It is 12.5 million a year, that is not a bad contract. Once they get a real DH with JD Martinez you will see this team will hit. Now whether they will pitch, that I'm not nearly as confident in.
