If true then its not just EVs that go "rogue", so can hybrids. This accident is more true to the 'Maximum Overdrive' concept than anything ive seen a Tesla do so far. Im worried a Tesla Semi may oneday do something like this but do sooo much more damage.
This can and has happened to ICE vehicles. The more computerized tech that controls the vehicle the more this sort of thing can happen. Which is why the problem is worse in EVs and especially Teslas.

This is the shocking moment a car owner claims that his 'rogue' hybrid Jaguar car took on a mind of its own and damaged three high-end cars in a scene out of a demolition derby.

Business owner Andrew Key says he was powerless to act as his £47,000 Jaguar E-Pace suddenly reversed at speed into a Porsche Boxster parked behind him.

The Jaguar mounted the black sports car and ended up on its roof.

Mr Key, 60, said despite slamming on the brakes his car then shot forwards and smashed into a Tesla Model Y parked in front. The Tesla in turn shunted a Mercedes C-Class car.

Luckily, nobody was in the Porsche at the time but a woman who was sat in the Tesla was left in shock.

The dramatic incident, which caused over £150,000 damage to all four cars, was captured on the dashcam of the Jaguar and Tesla.

It happened in the drop-off zone outside a busy Bournemouth railway station last October. Mr Key, the managing director of a private health care company, said it was a miracle nobody was seriously hurt or killed.

Happened last October but the article was only posted a few days ago.

Tesla goes out of control hitting a hydrant and tree, burns its occupants alive as their friends try desperately to get them out.

It was learned that a speeding Tesla crashed into a fire hydrant at Macarthur Boulevard and Grant Lane Road in Tracy at 9.45pm on Friday night, then crashed into a tree and burst into flames.

Behind their car, their other friends were coming in another car, who tried hard to save their friends, but the car got locked and they could not do anything because of the flames.

Tesla suffers SUA and drives into a parking garage wall.

I'm begging all of you to NEVER get in a Tesla as long as you live. It started accelerating on its own in a parking garage and my dad lost all control of the car and we ran into a wall at 40 mph. Most horrifying experience of my life.

Jain is one of tens of thousands of Tesla owners who have experienced premature failures of suspension or steering parts, according to a Reuters review of thousands of Tesla documents. The chronic failures, many in relatively new vehicles, date back at least seven years and stretch across Tesla’s model lineup and across the globe, from China to the United States to Europe, according to the records and interviews with more than 20 customers and nine former Tesla managers or service technicians.
