ABB’s profits on its IRC5 controller through May 2006 are $58 million; through March 2007, they are projected to be approximately $78 million. Under the law, if those profits were obtained through misappropriation, they must be forfeited or, at a minimum, a reasonable royalty paid to RWT for their use.
