My "understanding" (or dd) has informed me, that there exist a lot more efficient "platforms" than "Bitcoin" for conducting "commerce, etc".......

Absolutely correct. I've concluded the rambling comes from someone who missed the digital coin revolution completely and is relentlessly pounding a keyboard inside a library in frustration.
