Are you really trying to scare people away from KBLB on humanitarian grounds? A process that has been used for thousands of years in silk production? We're down to now fretting over the life of a silkworm, knowing full well they cannot survive on their own and die after laying eggs in the best of circumstances?

He tried this a few years back with concerns that PETA had and how inhumane this is. I say send a group of nuts from the now insignificant PETA to protest one of Vietnam's major industries. There is not enough bamboo in all of Asia that can supply all the canes that are going to be required to introduce PETA to that great Asian lawn sport of "caning". In fact let's take up a collection to buy a ticket for him to go protest in person. It'll be cheap...it only needs to be one way! LOL

Ah yes. The appeal to the foolish who anthropomorphize the silkworm as if it had the same value as man. What DO they teach in bible school these days?

The silkworm doesn’t know it exists now, that it once didn’t, and won’t again in the future. Wake me up when a silkworm constructs a shrine honoring the greatest silkworms in history. Or constructs a cocoon in a gothic style. Maybe then we’ll entertain the thought that we should care about the boiling of silkworms.
