Are you really trying to scare people away from KBLB on humanitarian grounds? A process that has been used for thousands of years in silk production? We're down to now fretting over the life of a silkworm, knowing full well they cannot survive on their own and die after laying eggs in the best of circumstances?

I wonder how much energy is consumed to run the massive machinery and infrastructure required for goo based end products? Seems like it's not very economically viable at this point, based on how many hundreds of millions of dollars they are burning through to not succeed.

How many coal fired plants are required to run this massive machinery? How much electricity is required and, thus far, wasted? If we weep for the silkworm we must also do the same for our planet.

So do we continue down this road to nowhere or get back to talking about spider silk, the primary focus for KBLB if not anyone else at this point.
