Berigud, nobody is going to pull exterior finish off of ANY existing home to add Insultex, stucco or otherwise. Insultex is not a product that can be used to remediate a building after it has been built. ProfitScout has (re)posted something that has no relevance to IVDN at all. There are already industries that cater to remediating poorly insulated houses. Insultex is not going to be a part of any of them. I can get a whole lot more R value for a whole lot less money by blowing additional insulation into my attic than by ripping siding off my house, adding Insultex, and replacing the siding. I mean.... that's just silly.
The fact that Joe is posting something like this on Twitter/X shows just how desperate he is. Can anyone here, even the IVDN fanboys, concoct a hypothetical situation where adding Insultex to an existing home would make any economic sense at all?
