I wouldn’t get too excited about a measly 5 % gain. The major indices are hitting all time highs and we are barely off a 52 week low. Now is not the time to gloat.

I eagerly await the day this opens 100% up because of a major news announcement. While it is always a positive when we close up, today is peanuts.

IMO it's basically a wee bit of speculative excitement today generated by $ANVS stating their data is cleaned up, and their top line result will be released soon.

The volume was low on $AVXL today so don't give it much weight, but speculative energy in one baby bio often brings speculative energy to them all.

From the 4.80 current bottom, we get a decent bounce now, to Begin trying to make some rally recovery. Watch the resistance steps here at 5.15/5.20/5.25 to see If the sellers make a strong effort to hammer it down again. Watch to see if support would hold now around 4.95 area.
A more promising rally needs at least 2 or 3 more of these upward moves. To retest 5.80-6.00 target area. If the upwave achieves that, then it starts to redevelop the larger chart patterns. Swing patterns. Maybe establishing a finished bottom at 4.80 , but that would need more time still, to establish first, a shoulder support zone around 5.30 area. Today is the second effort to bounce from the 4.80 base. Needs a lot more climbing to reach the finish target at 5.80/6.00 . But today began the effort.

falconer...the answer is Yes...solid test results are always welcome.

I would very much rather be having a discussion here about AVXL trials/results/clinical-medical possibilities, then build on that.

AVXL is sooo due. IMO, this is a clinical trials leadership organization w/massive WW possibilities. If what we have been told by AVXL about trials and future plans is true then WTF is the hold up all about. Do not tell us about starting trials w/positive headset in EU and then go silent for weeks. At least give us a glimpse-glimmer of the plan. We can handle it. Silence is not an effective management process, even though such a strategy of silence will present lower management stress..

AVXL staff should-must re-think the effectiveness of their current communications strategy..."GO FOR IT". We can handle it.

Schwab shows that AVXL closed at the high of the day, at $5.12. A for-the-day price gain of $0.28, 5.79%. Not typical.

Are some excited about the prospects of Anavex 3-71 being clinically tested in patients with schizophrenia?

Now that we had the bullish assessment after todays price action I was curious if there was going to be a bearish point of view shared in the interest of providing a neutral bias. Or do we just not do that?
Are some simply no longer excited about the P2 schizophrenia clinical trial?
