Of course that's stupidity! Jim and Gym were considered annoying even by many of their own before they started this clown show. Now they're only making it worse.
But that is what the GOP is doing. They simply continue the lie no matter how many times it has been disproved. They simply refuse to admit they lied because they think it will hurt them.
The only thing it won't fix is their legacy. Comer, Jordan, Graham and McConnell can't bring themselves to declare what Trump did regarding Jan 6 was a big fat lie. So now they lie in his defense.
