There is one more wrinkle to this TFSA problem for Canadian NWBO share holders. Another way the CRA disqualifies a stock from being permitted in a TFSA, is if the stock was delisted from a designated stock exchange (such as NASDAQ) and moved to the OTC as a result. My question is, in the case of NWBO they left the NASDAQ voluntarily. Does that mean there was no delisting? Thus the NWBO shares are still qualified to be in a TFSA? Any Canadian ever look into this?

In case anyone is interested, the end result seems to be, so far as I can tell, that NWBO is NOT listed on the Stuttgart exchange, it only trades there, in their version of over the counter in Stuttgart. So my broker is refusing to put my NWBO shares into my TFSA as a result. Does anyone know about the Stuttgart exchange and if they make this distinction between being listed on the exchange and only trading their "over the counter"?
