NNC has, in fact, announced their 29,000-home African mega-deal and I’ve previously posted some of the publicly-available info here, including a reference to their plan for using NexBoard. NNC and XERI will probably provide a more detailed update once the certification process is successfully completed.

While the Ivory Coast project was originally slated for 35,000 homes (as cited by both NNC & XERI), it appears NNC will now be offering 2 larger, more upscale home designs in addition to the more affordable, base model — which could account for the the slightly lower number of homes. More importantly, the NNC’s contract is now $3 billion (or more), much of which will end up in XERI’s pockets as the primary supplier of building materials.

I read on their website (nextnewconcept.com), the 29,000 home project was breaking ground in second Quarter, which begins April 1, 2024. Also, a second project was in negotiations, in Senegal, about 750 miles south-east.
