They never claimed commercial production of recombinant spider silk. None of these companies have. But they are all still trying.

Many announcements saying they’re going to, but no one has pulled it off. I guess you haven’t failed if you’re still trying.

How humiliating for Spiber. 100x the funding and still haven’t produced a 25kg batch of spider silk. Only Kraig has.
