So he won't be ready for opening day most likely. And shut down indefinetely apparently. Sounds Great. With the way this is going wouldn't be surprised with one word. Surgery in the future. Don't expect to pursue FA Arms apparently the GM from Milwaukee says. Why would we need depth in the rotation that is allready thin I guess. He is good for Four things so far I see.
1) Making wild claims about being a playoff team, that are not based in reality.
2) Bring Back previous ownerships spending patterns.
3) Being all in on Building a triple A winner.
4) And Loving No Bat Defensive OF who are injured a lot.
Loving this strategy, Definitely see lots of playoff teams let alone championships to follow with this plan. Not. And people thought I was being too negative, the answer is becoming more and more clear the real answer is not negative enough. Sadly. I continue to believe that this GM has no clue when it comes to him saying this is a playoff team, and there effort at trying to be one in a medicore NL at best is really sad. And the repsonse not to add an arm after this is flat out scary. I think this has potential to be a long decade if these prospects aren't good, and lets face it most of them are not very good, most fail. So can't say I see this going well. I have never been more negative as a Mets fan, than I am right now. I was under the impression this team would try to win every year, clearly that is no longer the case. Shaking my head. All is just my opinion of course.
