Or it could just be that boras is once again overvaluing his players, mean all these players have flaws I mean Chapman is a excellent 3b defensively, but his hitting is very suspect, and his 2nd half was really bad. Jordan Montomery is a pitcher I was really high on but at best your buying a 2/3 and he wants ace money essentially. Cody Bellinger had one really good year after numerous bad ones, is that they player you are getting or the player who has struggled a ton the last 3 year or so. And Blake Snell has had two great years and alot of mediocre ones, he never goes past 6 and for giving a guy ace money I have my question I want to pay this guy that when essentialy he is going 5-6 innings and even if he is exceptional during that stretch it is rarely past 6. These player have a price, it is not like any of them can't help you. But for the price they are being priced at most likey they are just all way overvalued, and can't argue with teams wanting to pass on that. Soto won't have that problem, because if soto has a really good year this year, everyone will want him. and the negatives on that player are non existant pretty much. All is just my opinion of course.
