There’s no conviction among investors in AVXL. The stock bobs up and down. Sometimes it moves down for a few days and sometimes it rises for a few days. When the stock tanks on a Missling fumble, the bottom fishers jump in and we get a recovery. Likewise, every time there’s a juicy sounding headline, the stock pops. Then investors who think the stock is over-bought either go short or take quick profits and take the stock lower. (Think bs2020 and Georgejjl.)

This pattern is likely to continue until and unless there is a major, unexpected development. However, the price action and relatively light volume tells me investors are not anticipating any Earth-shattering news in the foreseeable future.
