"several commercial foundries are implementing our PIC designs for multi-channel polymer modulator engines, including 4 channel solutions for 800G".

‘are implementing our PIC designs . . . ‘

This is not in the category of ‘forward looking’ statement. This is an honest to goodness announcement of positive action being taken to produce a product.

If this is factual information, this is very good.

Thanks, but I can't help but wonder about this:

So, with all that said, everything appears to be going to plan to have EO polymer modulator based transceivers ready in 2024

You base that on this:

"several commercial foundries are implementing our PIC designs for multi-channel polymer modulator engines, including 4 channel solutions for 800G".

which really was about the only update Dr Lebby gave us ALL YEAR with regard to the foundry work. BUT, isn't that shocking? Weren't most of us under the impression that they already did that in 2022? They had received modulators back from foundries in the fall of 2022 based on the "kitchen recipe". So, maybe "modulator engines" is different than just "modulators"? The PIC design is different than the kitchen recipe for the creation of the modulator? Yes? No?

You agreed that scalability is still an unknown. Then you said this:

There are two poling scenarios and one is that its completed at the foundry and the other is that its completed in-house.

Is one of these poling the wafer at the foundry and the other poling the modulator in house? Or something else?

Lastly - why are you "in love" again with Dr Lebby when the Dec 4 shareholder said what it said? What changed your mind?

I knew you would bail but that is ok. Just don't start bitching again if we retrace backwards. I will handle that for both of us.

The December 4 2023 shareholder letter, which is the most recent communication from LWLG, says – and I quote – “Also of note, we are planning to implement our PIC designs using commercial semiconductor foundries for multi-channel polymer modulator engines, including 4 channel solutions for 800G.”

In his rah-rah post, KCC misleadingly used an older quote from Lebby that said “several commercial foundries are implementing our PIC designs for multi-channel polymer modulator engines, including 4 channel solutions for 800G.”

See the difference? “PLANNING to implement” is very, very different than “ARE implementing.”

The most recent communication from Lebby is that they are PLANNING to implement, not that they ARE implementing.

Perhaps KCC would care to address and indicate if he posted this outdated information knowingly, or unknowingly.
