I think you’re skipping over the key parts of the patents and the PR. Scalability, interchangeability and parallel processing.

And an industrial level machine would not require you to necessarily “remove it” or stop disconnect it from a continuous process, just to have it advance in a process that enables parallel processing, up to possibly 12 at a time, was my read.

As I have said before, the whole point of doing something like this ultimately in a “factory”, in self-contained units is continuous process improvement, in terms of efficiencies, not necessarily how the product is made. When you have cartridges like this, in the end, they or a larger company, could likely create a more fluid process not relying on individual machines and rather than doing them one at a time, processing parallel, in a more systemic process.

As to how they will parallel process now, it may be with one employee and 12 machines in a room, or multiple cartridges on a machine process. Makes little difference, but the point of having cartridges is parallel processing within the cartridges but also to eventually utilize space efficiently and process in some sort of continuous process flow that slots cartridges into and then exits them out of the process. Doesn’t have to be in the middle of manufacturing. They don’t all need to necessarily start at the same time. The cartridges are removable ultimately and the processing happens entirely within the cartridge, in an enclosed fashion.

Sure, it could be. And it could be that payments are that way everywhere or just the UK. Not sure we would know yet for sure in any case. One reason to do it the way they are doing it in the UK now is compassionate care means it is out of pocket and getting patients into the program and getting their initial shots is kind of key to keeping them alive.
