#54668 RE: upper11 #54664

I'm genuinely curious. Why do you apparently believe anyone would be paid to post negatively about a stock on a board that usually has fewer than 10 posts per day? Who would pay, and why? How would the payments be made, and how often?

Since most people who believe as you do also seem to think "bashers" are only remunerated if there are replies to their posts, how is that determined, by whom, and how often? Is there someone in an office somewhere who spends his or her days searching financial message boards for replies? And do those replies only count if they come from longs, or do replies from other bashers count as well? Do their authors earn more if the post in question receives one or more "likes", or favorable emojis? Does the quality of the post make a difference? That is, will a five-paragraph post with links to three relevant references be paid better than a simple "No"? If so, who would make a determination about the amount?

I could go on, but am hoping you by now take my point.
