My area experienced sub-zero temps a couple of weeks ago. I think my mileage range dropped but the car performance was not affected at all. I parked outdoors for several hours and had no problem. For people who cannot charge in their own garage, Tesla may not be a good choice; but it’s a non-issue for most of us.
Mine didn't, only slight and temporary battery degradation due to low ambient temps, this was significantly decreased if preconditioning was used pre-trip.
