You may be aware of private matters regarding some of the posters here, but I'm not.
I used cycle to describe some wishy washy "longs" here. That's it. I said "sorry", as an afterthought, because she is the only female on the board that I know of.
If I had known whatever information you're alluding to, the word would have been out of line of course.
With my knowledge at the time, the context was accurate. Some may say possibly in bad taste. Hence the "sorry".
I'm not going to apologize now for saying something without having the prior, private knowledge to know better. Pointless.
